Trillium Films, the Marin Surfrider Foundation and the California Ocean Communicators Alliance invites ocean lovers to celebrate our ocean on World Ocean Day Saturday June 9th at the Lark Theater, 549 Magnolia Ave, Larkspur, from 12:00 to 4 PM.

We are featuring ocean films including Sharks: Stewards of the Reef,, a new shark film by Sausalito filmmakers Trillium Films, and other short conservation films from Shifting Baselines, Thank You Ocean ( and Healthy Oceans: Healthy Humans.

We will end the lineup with a surf film.

Ocean information booths and activites will be located outside the lobby with live music from the Ukulele Friends Ohana. Go to for updated event information.

This ocean awareness event will be a fundraiser for the Lark Theater to support the Screensaver LLC's efforts to buy and maintain this historical and last independently operated single screen theater in Marin.
